Salary: $148,850 - 269,075 per year Requirements:

• I am looking for a Principal Systems DevOps Engineer with extensive expertise in Git and a strong background in platform architecture, automation, and cloud infrastructure. You should have in-depth knowledge of both Linux and Windows environments, Agile methodologies, and the capability to implement state-of-the-art solutions for deployment and system optimization. A solid understanding of programming, along with considerable experience in system administration, is essential. You should excel in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
• To qualify, you must have a minimum of 20 years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. A Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited institution is required. Alternatively, five additional years of experience in Systems Engineering can substitute for the degree. A Top Secret/SCI clearance with a Polygraph is also required.

Responsibilities:

• In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the development lifecycle, which includes platform design, deployment, and debugging. You will build and maintain a release pipeline for efficient and secure production delivery. Your duties will involve automating deployments across different environments using scripting languages and toolkits. You will also configure sites and applications using tools like Puppet and Ansible while maintaining Confluence and Jira software. Additionally, you will assist in designing and maintaining web service infrastructure and deployments, as well as identifying and implementing process improvements through automation and streamlining.
