Seamless Migration is seeking a career and customer-oriented Junior Financial Analyst, to join our team in Washington Navy Yard, DC.

CLEARANCE

• Active TS/SCI clearance (existing clearance required to start)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph

LOCATION

• Washington Navy Yard, DC

OVERVIEW

• Compile information to support a critical program and prepare related financial/budget documents for key stakeholders and senior management.
• Prepare monthly budget and finance reports.
• Update and maintain financial records, including the Excel Checkbook file and sponsor financial reconciliation data.
• Maintain a repository for annual documents such as Task Planning Sheets (TPSS).
• Review documents for compliance with Comptroller guidance.
• Monitor monthly budget execution and compile variance explanations.
• Generate financial spreadsheets for monthly metrics meetings.
• Assist in the preparation of financial metrics for Program Status Reports (PSRs).
• Prepare data for budget submissions and financial reviews.
• Compile and prepare annual obligation and expenditure plans.
• Review and analyze unliquidated obligations for recapture and reuse.
• Use the Enterprise Resource Program (ERP) financial system to review financial documents and obligations.
• Coordinate with program staff to monitor contract close-outs and claims.
• Respond to ad-hoc tasking to support resource sponsors and the team.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1 or more years of Federal/DoD budget experience.
• 2 or more years’ experience using Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited University.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with monitoring execution performance.
• Experience with generating metrics for senior management.
• Experience with the ERP financial system.
• Experience with the DAR-Q review process.
