With three decades of experience as a general contractor, we're on the lookout for skilled electricians to join our team. Our focus lies in handling small to medium-sized commercial renovation projects across Virginia. These projects are spread throughout Virginia, necessitating occasional travel and overnight stays. While the standard workweek typically amounts to 40 hours, overtime opportunities are readily available.

Job Description: Full Time Journeyman Electrician

The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and industrial buildings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical theory and be proficient in the use of electrical tools and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in small to medium-size commercial and industrial buildings.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems.
• Work with a variety of electrical materials and components.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations.
• Demolition of lighting fixtures and 110-volt electrical distribution circuitry
• Installation of new and replacement lighting.

Qualifications:

• At least 7 years of experience as an Electrician.
• A Journeyman or Master Electrician's license is required/must!
• A strong understanding of electrical theory.
• Proficiency in the use of electrical tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical problems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to safety procedures.
