Job Description

Information Technology Manager
Location: Waucoma, IA

Summary:
The Information Technology Manager will be responsible for overseeing the IT department's daily operations, managing IT projects, and ensuring the stability and efficiency of our technological infrastructure. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of IT systems and processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management:
    • Lead and manage the IT team, providing guidance and mentorship.
    • Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to support business objectives.
    • Collaborate with senior management to align IT strategies with company goals.
    • Availability to work nights and weekends as needed.
 
  • Infrastructure and Operations:
    • Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, and security of IT hardware and software.
    • Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of IT systems and networks.
    • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize service delivery and cost-effectiveness.
 
  • Project Management:
    • Plan, execute, and oversee IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.
    • Coordinate with other departments to implement new systems and technologies.
    • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management.
 
  • Technical Support:
    • Provide high-level technical support and troubleshooting for IT issues.
    • Ensure timely resolution of support requests and incidents.
    • Manage
    • helpdesk systems and processes to improve service efficiency.
 
  • Security and Compliance:
    • Develop and enforce IT security policies and procedures to protect company data and systems.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
    • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field  or AA Degree + 5 to 10 years of experience in IT management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and applications.
  • Proven experience in managing IT projects and leading teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to document processes and procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
