Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and creative individual to design engaging and interactive training content for multiple business lines and markets. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by developing learning materials that empower employees to succeed.
What You'll Do:
Create Training Materials: Design content for online self-directed courses, virtual and in-person instructor-led courses, including comprehensive materials for both participants and facilitators.
Lead Training Rollouts: Conduct employee training sessions during rollouts and provide "train-the-trainer" support to instructors.
Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with management and subject matter experts to assess training needs and obtain content approvals.
Design Curriculum Plans: Develop training scopes, project plans, and storyboards for effective curriculum design.
Stay on Track: Follow project timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met and keeping teams informed on progress.
Analyze Results: Measure and evaluate the impact of training programs to ensure their effectiveness.
Travel Requirements: The position may require nationwide travel for up to 1-6 weeks at a time to support the expanding infrastructure.
Flexible Hours: Some evenings and/or weekend work may be required to meet project deadlines.
Field Observations: Occasionally, you will observe field employees to gain insights into their essential job duties.
What You'll Need:
Presentation Skills: Strong ability to facilitate both one-on-one and group training sessions.
Understanding of Learning Theory: Basic knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a talent for building relationships and working well with others.
Self-Management: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and juggle multiple projects.
Content Creation: Skills in creating training content that motivates, informs, and drives employee success.
Problem-Solving: Strong research, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
Customer-Centric Approach: A commitment to delivering high-quality service with a focus on customer and sales orientation.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, PowerPoint, InfoPath) and Microsoft Teams. Familiarity with Vyond, Adobe software (Photoshop, Acrobat, Captivate), and Articulate Storyline is a plus.
