Hvac Repair Technician job at SMSI Springdale, AR, US

Job Description

We are looking for a personable, experienced HVAC service technician who loves to problem-solve to join our team. You'll be responsible for a variety of work orders and visiting homes and businesses to work on HVAC, indoor air quality, refrigeration, and control systems. The ideal candidate has the technical skills to identify and isolate problems, is familiar with using hand and power tools, and has strong communication skills to explain what needs to be repaired, replaced, or installed, and why. When necessary, you’ll upsell customers on preventative maintenance plans and indoor air quality products and services. Ready to join our growing HVAC company? Apply today! Responsibilities:

Implement state-of-the-art heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
Examine and carry out maintenance on equipment, including repairs and replacements.
Carry out regular preventive maintenance.
Address urgent maintenance needs promptly.
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and guidelines.
Conduct preventive maintenance, regular repairs, and calibration on-site following installation.
Utilizes expertise in preventative maintenance and system operations to assess service needs based on experience and technical skills.
It is imperative to operate in a secure manner every day and guarantee that all safety protocols are adhered to consistently.
Carries out additional tasks as directed.

Qualifications:

Prior background in HVAC or similar industries.
Proficiency in HVAC schematics.
Capacity to manage physical demands.
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
Exceptional customer service abilities.
Strong mechanical diagnostic abilities.
Proficiency in carrying out repairs and completing necessary documentation.
