Role: HVAC Controls – Engineer

Location: Overland Park, KS (Onsite)

Duration: Long Term

Description:

5-7 years' experience in HVAC Controls
Proficient in reading and creating HVAC schematics
Hands-on experience with PLCs and VFDs
Knowledge of communication protocols: I2C, SPI, CAN, Modbus, BACnet, Ethernet, DCS, ICS
Selection expertise for electrical and electronic components (MCB, ELCB, EC Motors, pumps, fuses, solenoid valves, etc.)
Proficiency in CAD software, especially AutoCAD Electricals
Testing experience using equipment like clamp meters and multimeters
Ability to work on high-voltage electrical systems
Expertise in obsolescence management for components such as transformers, relays, contactors, MCBs, RLCBs, resistors, capacitors, diodes, inductors, MCUs, and memory units
Strong data analysis and decision-making skills
Self-driven with minimal supervision required
Effective communication and client interaction skills

Area of Interest:

Support in PLC logic creation and prototype model testing
Offshore coordination
Requirement understanding and identifying key challenges
Support in installation and commissioning
Identifying cost-saving opportunities through in-house product development
Interaction with end customers for quoting and order processing
Experience with SAP/ERP systems, BOM, drawing changes, supply chain, quality control, and panel building
Troubleshooting and quoting expertise
