Job Summary:

As a hotel front desk agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests during their stay. You will handle guest check-ins and check-outs, answer inquiries, and provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions. Additionally, you will assist guests with any issues or concerns they may have during their stay, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Conduct accurate and efficient audits of daily transactions, including guest accounts and revenue reports.

Ensure all guest charges are accurately posted and balanced.

Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.

Perform front desk duties such as check-ins, check-outs, and reservations during the overnight hours.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company standards and procedures.

Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner upon arrival.

Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.

Answer phone calls and respond to emails, providing information and assistance as needed.

Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously.

Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.

Assist guests with reservations, both over the phone and in person.

Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions.

Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely.

Coordinate with other hotel departments to fulfill guest requests and resolve issues.

Ensure the lobby and front desk area are clean, organized, and presentable at all times.

Adhere to hotel policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.

Stay informed about events and activities in the local area to provide recommendations to guests.

Complete any additional tasks or projects assigned by management.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or related field is a plus.

Previous experience in customer service or hospitality, preferably in a hotel setting.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Proficiency in computer systems and software, including hotel management systems.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Attention to detail and accuracy in handling guest information and transactions.

Friendly and outgoing personality with a passion for providing exceptional service.
