Description Robert Half is on the lookout for a meticulous and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team on a short-term contract basis! Responsibilities + Accurately record and manage transactions related to Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). + Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data. + Maintain and update the general ledger. + Support payroll processing and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines. + Assist in preparing financial reports, summaries, and account analyses. + Aid in month-end and year-end closing activities with thoroughness and precision. + Use bookkeeping and accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP to effectively manage financial data. Requirements Qualifications and Skills + Strong understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes. + Proficiency in performing bank reconciliations and maintaining financial integrity. + Experience in working with and updating the general ledger. + Knowledge of payroll systems and processes. + Familiarity with recording journal entries and supporting month-end closing activities. + Expertise in tools like QuickBooks, NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP. + Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
