Night Shift: Friday-Saturday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM or 7:00 AM -3:00 PM
Job Description:
Red Lion is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Front Desk Audit/Night Shift team member. This role is crucial for maintaining the smooth operation of our front desk during late-night hours, ensuring the accuracy of our nightly audit processes, and assisting with light breakfast preparation in the morning.
**Responsibilities:**
Audit Shift Duties:
- Perform nightly audits of financial transactions and guest accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Reconcile discrepancies in guest folios and transactions.
- Generate and review daily financial reports, including room revenue and charge adjustments.
- Verify and balance cash drawers and credit card transactions.
- Prepare and distribute end-of-day reports to management.
- Assist with the setup of the breakfast area, including arranging food items and ensuring cleanliness.
- Perform basic food preparation tasks, such as setting out utensils, condiments, and beverages.
Front Desk Duties (Overnight and Night Shift):
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests checking in and out during your shifts.
- Address guest inquiries, resolve issues, and provide information about the hotel and local area.
- Monitor and manage hotel security and safety protocols.
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications as needed.
- Perform administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and report generation.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree or relevant experience preferred.
- Previous experience in hotel front desk or auditing roles is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with hotel management software and basic office equipment.
- Ability to handle cash and process payments accurately.
- Must be able to work the assigned shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Ability to perform light physical tasks associated with breakfast setup.
