Position Title: Finisher



Wage: $19.00/hour



Shift: 3rd



Hours: 9:00pm – 5:30am (Sunday – Thursday) OR 6:00pm – 4:30m (Monday – Thursday or Sunday – Wednesday); Overtime as Needed

Finisher Responsibilities:

• Perform visual and dimensional inspection of castings
• Mark defects and discard defective castings into the designated scrap box
• Operate trim press to remove excess material
• Remove fins and other irregularities from castings using hand and power tools
• Adjust and change cutter heard to proper specifications as necessary and record data
• Arrange for machine repairs by contacting supervisor or Maintenance Department personnel as necessary
• Exceed customer quality and service expectations through attention to detail
• Exhibit superior safety practices, evidenced by outstanding housekeeping

Requirements for Finisher:

• Able to perform repetitive bending, twisting, lifting, and reaching
• Able to read, write and understand English
• Able to perform prolonged standing for 8-10 hour shift
• Able to work in a fast-paced, hot environment
• Able to lift up to 45lbs repetitively throughout shift
• Continuous mental and visual attention
