Job Description: Entry Level Events Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Entry Level Events Assistant to join our dynamic team. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about event planning and looking to kickstart their career in the events industry. As an Entry Level Events Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of events, from corporate functions to social gatherings, gaining invaluable hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and coordination of various events
  • Support the setup and breakdown of events at different venues
  • Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure all requirements are met
  • Help manage guest lists and RSVPs, ensuring accuracy and timely communication
  • Assist in the creation of event materials, including agendas and signage
  • Coordinate logistics such as transportation, catering, and audiovisual needs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Communications, or a related field is preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with event management software
  • A keen eye for detail and a creative mindset
