Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Electrical Project Manager to join our growing team! In this role, you will oversee and manage the successful completion of large commercial, institutional, and multifamily electrical construction projects. You will lead a dynamic team, engage with clients, and ensure projects meet budget, quality, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the project team, ensuring successful project completion and alignment with client expectations.
Mentor and supervise members of the project management team, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
Maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and quality control.
Oversee project-related documentation, including correspondence, contracts, and reports.
Manage project materials, budgets, and production schedules to ensure timelines and financial targets are met.
Attend regular team meetings and collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth project execution.
Plan and schedule resources to meet project deadlines and ensure optimal team performance.
Act as the main point of contact between the client and field construction team, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution of issues.
Identify scope changes and address project milestones and challenges.
Oversee project financials, ensuring projects are completed on budget and at or above expected gross profit margins.
Facilitate the change order process and communicate project updates to clients.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to budget and quality standards.
Provide constructive feedback to team members and offer guidance to ensure continuous improvement.
What We Are Looking For
At least 5 years of project management experience in the electrical field, with a proven track record of successful project completion.
Strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
Exceptional team-building and leadership skills, with a focus on development and mentorship.
Proficiency in planning and strategizing project timelines and resources.
Ability to make decisions promptly and effectively, ensuring the success of the project.
A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service at all stages of the project.
Willingness and ability to travel as required for project site visits.
Experience managing remote projects with limited site visits is a plus.
