BrightKey team! We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused
Driver/Courier to support our operations based out of our Odenton, MD location. This role is responsible for transporting mail, packages, and various materials between company sites, client locations, and area post offices. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and comfortable operating commercial vehicles, including box trucks up to 26 feet and cargo vans. In addition to driving, this role will involve helping out in the warehouse as needed. While prior warehouse experience is a plus, it is not required.
Compensation & Benefits: - Hourly Pay Range: $22.00 – 24.00 per hour

Location & Hours: - On-site in Odenton, MD
- Monday through Friday (first shift/full-time)
- Daily Schedule is 7:00am – 3:30pm
Key Requirements for the Driver / Courier: - Prior professional driving experience, ideally driving 26-foot box trucks
- Clean Driving Record
- DOT Medical Card (current or ability to obtain)
- Willing to help out in other areas including the warehouse when not driving
Qualifications for the Driver / Courier: - Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate 26-ft box trucks.
- Previous courier, delivery, or professional driving experience required.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move packages and mail (typically up to 50 lbs).
- Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong time-management skills and reliability in meeting delivery timelines.
- Familiarity with Maryland and Washington, DC roadways is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
- Must be able to pass required background checks and drug screening.
Responsibilities of the Courier / Driver: - Safely operate box trucks (up to 26 ft) and vans for daily pick-ups and deliveries.
- Transport mail, packages, supplies, and other materials between company locations, client sites, and post offices.
- Follow established routes and delivery schedules while maintaining flexibility for urgent or unscheduled tasks.
- Load and unload items, ensuring all materials are properly secured and handled with care.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and any required documentation.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients and team members.
- Help out as needed in other areas of operations including in the warehouse.
- Adhere to company safety procedures and all DOT, state, and local regulations.
