As a Deputy Chief Engineer at CyberPoint, you will lead and inspire a team of engineers through successful project delivery. the Deputy Chief Engineer is a "hands-on keyboard" engineering leader with experience in DoD programs. The Deputy Chief will work closely with the PMO team leaders, senior leadership within DoD, stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure that engineering policies are robust, scalable and align with industry best practices. The role will involve integrating COTS technologies into a tech stack and providing technical guidance and hands-on keyboard skills to ensure successful integration and delivery of a prototype solution. This position is also responsible for maintaining a strong focus on quality, performance and security while fostering a continuous improvement and innovation. The ideal candidate is passionate about systems integration and engineering, security and Zero Trust and has a desire to make a significant impact on the DoD mission. Specific project experience with Zero Trust policy, guidance and measurement is essential. Minimum of secret clearance. This position is 100% onsite at the Link in Columbia, MD and may have some travel.
