Dental Lab Technician - Huntsville, AL


Full Time | 5 Days per Week | $25 to $40 per Hour

An established, quality-driven dental laboratory in Huntsville is seeking a skilled Dental Lab Technician to join its removable prosthetics team. This is a full-time position where you will apply creativity and precision to produce high-quality dental prosthetics that improve patients' smiles and quality of life.

This opportunity is ideal for experienced Dental Lab Technicians , Denture Technicians , or candidates with strong manual dexterity and craftsmanship skills from related fields such as jewelry making, hairdressing, artistry, carpentry, or mechanics. Responsibilities:

• Set up full and partial dentures by arranging teeth in wax with precision and aesthetic care.
• Read and interpret detailed dental prescriptions and design specifications.
• Construct and refine wax models to ensure optimal fit, function, and patient comfort.
• Adjust tooth shape, size, and color to match natural dentition and patient requirements.
• Assist with denture finishing processes, including curing, polishing, and final inspection.
• Follow standard operating procedures and maintain high-quality standards.
• Manage production timelines and ensure on-time delivery of cases.
• Collaborate with dental lab technicians and other team members in a positive work environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in denture set up, or 1 year of experience in a role requiring strong manual dexterity. (jeweler, hairdresser, artist, carpenter, mechanic, or similar)
• Familiarity with dental lab tools, wax ups, and removable prosthetic workflows preferred.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to read, write, and follow detailed instructions.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic.
• CDT certification preferred, or interest in pursuing certification. (the lab supports this path)
• No prior dental experience required. Training will be provided for the right candidate with strong manual skills and a growth mindset.
