Job Description

Salary: $67,600 - 122,200 per year Requirements:

• I hold a B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent technical degree with 1-4 years of relevant experience.
• I reside in north Alabama or I am willing to relocate to the area.
• I possess foundational knowledge of network architecture, including firewalls, static/dynamic IP configuration, subnets, and network diagrams.
• I have a basic understanding of network protocols such as SSH, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, RDP, and VPN.
• I have basic experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, including shell usage, software installation, access management, and basic scripting.
• I am familiar with security tools like Logging/Monitoring, Antivirus, Encryption, and Intrusion Detection.
• I demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• I have basic proficiency in MS365 tools including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
• I am capable of collaborating across multiple teams and programs, allowing me to multitask effectively.

• I serve as the technical representative and link between program leadership and corporate cybersecurity stakeholders.
• I analyze cybersecurity requirements and communicate their impact to relevant stakeholders.
• I collaborate with stakeholders to enforce cybersecurity standards and best practices.
• I conduct research on security trends and provide guidance on methods to reduce potential risks.
• I design, implement, and maintain secure development environments that support program functions.
• I perform and coordinate technical tasks to ensure program compliance with necessary regulations.
• I create and maintain documentation regarding cybersecurity policies, procedures, and compliance evidence.
• I manage system administration tasks, including user access, software installations and updates, system monitoring, hardening, and vulnerability remediation.
• I respond to and mitigate security incidents and threats effectively.
• I provide technical support for cybersecurity requirements and information systems across various programs.
