Job Title: Cost AccountantJob Description We are looking for a motivated Accountant professional who is eager to advance their career into a Cost Accountant position. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Excel, ERP systems, and have relevant experience in cost accounting within the manufacturing industry. This is a long-term opportunity with a growing company located in Boise, ID. Responsibilities Perform cost accounting and cost analysis. Manage accounting, inventory, and costing processes. Conduct month-end closing activities. Analyze standard costing and variable costing. Prepare financial reports and analysis. Forecast financial performance and assist in budgeting. Work within a publicly traded company environment. Essential Skills 2-5 years of experience in cost accounting or cost analysis. 1-2+ years of manufacturing industry knowledge. Proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS, and XLOOKUPS. Experience with month-end closing activities. Strong understanding of inventory management and costing techniques. Additional Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in ERP software (Epicore preferred). Progressive experience in accounting. Work Environment This position is fully on-site in Boise, ID, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm. The company offers a range of benefits including three medical plans, free dental, long and short-term disability, tuition reimbursement, health insurance plans, paid time off (PTO), and quarterly and year-end bonuses typically around $10k per year.
