Position Overview
The Clinical Risk Management Specialist operates as part of the Quality and Risk Management team to contribute to the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care and the promotion of patient safety.
Duties:
•Assist the Senior Director of Quality and Risk Management with the day-to-day management of internal event reports.
•Complete recurring and ad hoc quality audits to evaluate adherence to policies, procedures, and established clinical guidelines.
•Assist with the implementation of the annual risk management training plan and monitoring of completion of mandatory trainings to meet regulatory requirements.
•Participate in retrospective and pro-active risk assessments such as root cause analysis and failure mode and effects analysis.
•Participate in committees related to Quality and Risk Management such as
•Assist with implementation of grant-related performance improvement initiatives and monitor effectiveness by gathering and interpreting the relevant data.
•Assist with maintenance of policies assigned to the department and with the development of new policies.
•Collaborate with other departments to promote a culture of safety and help drive quality improvement across the Network.
•Travel to outlying sites may be required
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Primary Health Network: 63 Pitt St, Sharon PA.
Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
NO WEEKENDS
Education
High school graduate or equivalent
Experience Requirements
•Minimum of 5 years of clinical health care experience.
•Ability to analyze data objectively and present organized reports.
•Commitment to developing the culture of safety within the organization.
•Willingness to participate in professional development opportunities to benefit the implementation of the Quality and Risk Management programs.
•Effective communication and collaboration skills.
•Proficient computer skills.
•Ability to maintain flexibility in the workplace.
