The Division of Immunology and Rheumatology at Stanford University has a longstanding tradition of excellence in patient care, and is among the leading groups in the School of Medicine in cutting edge bench research, clinical trial investigation and outcomes assessment research. The Division is dedicated to institutional and community commitment to the development of research programs at Stanford that focus on clinical immunology.
We are seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator Associate to perform duties related to the coordination of clinical studies. Coordinate moderately complex aspects of one or more clinical studies. Work under close direction of the two principal investigators Dr. Titilola Falasinnu and Dr. Dokyoung Sophia You and/or a Clinical Research Manager.
Dr. Falasinnu studies epidemiological inference in rheumatology, emphasizing pain, disability, and function. One study involves the use of electronic health records to create chronic pain phenotypes, combining structured and unstructured data. Another study aims to under the management of pain in acute care settings.
Dr. You investigates the Effect of Pain Catastrophizing on Prescription Opioid Craving in patients with chronic pain. This study includes a laboratory experiment and at-home intervention to determine whether pain catastrophizing influences opioid craving when patients take opioid for pain management. The other will include small pilot studies to discover psychosocial aspects of pain and mechanism of changes in pain psychology intervention. Patients with any type of chronic pain may enroll in the study. Our projects focus on patients visiting our Stanford pain clinic or community-dwelling adults with chronic pain.

WORKING STANDARDS:
The expected pay range for this position is $31.84 - $37.79 per hour.
