Position Title: Back of House Manager  

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000

Job Summary

As a  Back of House Manager , you’ll play a key role in our culinary and operational success across multiple outlets, including a full-scale commissary kitchen, café (opening late next summer), and event operations at The Pearl at Atrium Health. This position blends hands-on leadership, culinary oversight, and logistical coordination to ensure smooth execution across corporate dining and large-scale events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all commissary production, pack-out, and delivery logistics, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and food safety.

  • Manage purchasing, receiving, and inventory processes to maintain proper stock levels and cost controls.

  • Ensure strict adherence to HACCP, QA, and sanitation standards throughout all kitchen and storage areas.

  • Provide daily leadership to the culinary, utility, and stewarding teams, including training, scheduling, coaching, and performance development.

  • Partner with the Executive Chef and operations leadership to execute high-end catering and event services on and off site.

  • Support the launch and operations of the onsite café, ensuring seamless transition from commissary support to café management.

  • Drive company vehicle as needed for deliveries and event support.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent hands-on management experience.

  • Minimum 3 years of progressive kitchen, production, or BOH management in corporate dining, catering, or event operations.

  • Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and accountability.

  • Skilled in purchasing systems, inventory control, and cost management.

  • ServSafe certification or Department of Health credential preferred.

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
