Description

The Psychology Department at Erskine College seeks applicants with degrees in fields including: Behavioral Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Cultural Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Educational Psychology, Environmental Psychology, Experimental Psychology, Health Psychology, Human Factors/Engineering Psychology, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Neuropsychology, Personality Psychology, Physiological Psychology, Psychometric Psychology, and Social Psychology.

Responsibilities

• 4-4 semester course load
• Teaching at least 1 section of General Psychology every semester
• Academic advising
• College committee work and service
• Academic research

Qualifications

• Ability to being teaching August 2025
• A Ph.D. in one of the above-mentioned fields (ABD candidates will be considered)
• Individuals with a Masters’ degree who have teaching experience will be considered
• A personal relationship with Jesus Christ
• Ability to teach General Psychology and other Psychology courses from a Christian worldview
• Ability to teach in both face-to-face and online environments
• Preferably a strong background in teaching and research
• Willingness to offer spiritual support to students
