As a technical expert, you will collaborate closely with various teams to prototype and implement innovative gameplay features. Accountabilities

• Lead the creation of rapid prototypes for new gameplay systems and features.
• Collaborate closely with the design team to build complex gameplay systems and advise on best practices.
• Work with engineering and technical art teams to ensure design vision and technical soundness.
• Design and implement complex gameplay features using Unreal Engine Blueprints.
• Mentor other designers on technical design best practices and optimization.
• Perform peer reviews for technical design work, ensuring high standards.
• Help define and document technical standards for design-created content.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional game design experience with a heavy focus on technical design.
• Experience on at least one successfully-published large-scale multiplayer online game title.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Expert-level proficiency with Unreal Engine, especially Blueprints.
• Exceptional understanding of all game development disciplines and content pipeline.
• Strong problem solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
• Clear and transparent communicator with mentoring abilities.
